14-21. Data Security, Privacy and Multi-factor Authentication
The Staff Acceptable Use Policy establishes the standards for acceptable electronic activity of employees and other authorized users using and accessing the district and school technology, internet, data and network systems and the electronic communication between students and employees. The BOARD and the UNION agree that implementing Multi-Factor Authentication is an effective measure to safeguard sensitive student and staff information with authentication factors for CTU members to access CPS systems without using their personal cell phone or laptops.
