16-7. Professional Development

Professional development for physical education teachers shall be provided in city-wide or district level meetings during the school day in their subject area. Lifeguard and Water Safety certifications are a minimum job requirement for P.E. teachers working at schools with functional and utilized swimming pools and the cost of such certifications shall continue to be paid by the Board.
