18-11. Workforce Council

The BOARD and the UNION will work cooperatively through co-sponsorship for the establishment of an educational manpower council or to join a similar established council. The council will be represented as a goal by the ten largest employment sectors in the metropolitan area with representatives from the business community, other educational institutions, labor organizations and state and local governments to identify workforce needs within the Chicago metropolitan area to ensure that CTE curricula and programs are aligned to those needs.
