34-6. Advance Notification of Subject of Conferences

Bargaining unit employees summoned by the BOARD or Chief Executive Officer or his or her designee for formal action which could be adverse shall be given advance notification as to the subject of the conference and shall have the option of having a UNION representative present and representing the employee. The employee shall be responsible for notifying the UNION. This procedure shall not apply to unsatisfactory evaluation conferences which are covered under Article 39.
