13-10. Athletic Trainers
The BOARD, in collaboration with CTU Joint Sports Committee will annually review assignment of athletic trainers and make recommendations for coverage based on funding and schedules, with priority given to CPS Stadiums Additional school allocations would be determined in the Sports Joint Committee based on collaboratively developed criteria and available funds as determined in Article 13-11.
13-10.1. Athletic Directors.
The Board shall provide each large and extra large high school with a centrally funded full-time athletic director (under the CPS Office of Sports Administration SY2024 definitions). Additionally, the Board shall allocate a minimum of $3 million per year for athletic director stipends to be used for part-time high school athletic directors and elementary school athletic liaisons.
