22-19. Itinerant Teachers of the Visually Impaired

22-19.1. Professional Development. 

The BOARD shall allow Itinerant Teachers of the Visually Impaired to attend professional development during the workday up to two times per semester, with manager approval. Attendance at these sessions will not require the use of paid time off, and Itinerant Teachers of the Visually Impaired will be compensated at their regular rate of pay for the release time.
