49-14. Bilingual Teacher Assistant Positions

Beginning in the 2025-2026 school year, and provided that there are a sufficient number of qualified candidates, CPS agrees to maintain thirty (30) bilingual Teacher Assistants which shall be centrally funded and assigned to schools to support schools experiencing increases in EL student enrollment. The intent of this provision is to supplement, not replace, school-based bilingual Teacher Assistant roles.
