49-13. Network-based Fine Arts Positions

Beginning in the 2025-2026 school year and contingent on the availability of qualified candidates, CPS will hire 8 full-time art teacher positions per year to support multiple elementary schools, with a total of 24 art teachers by SY2027-28. Priority for support will be given to schools with vacant fine arts positions, followed by those with only one fine arts teacher, ensuring equitable distribution of resources. Employment of network-based fine art positions are contingent upon agreement to accept schools assignments across various school locations.
